I started working in the health and wellness field over ten years ago after graduating from BSU with a degree in exercise science. Shortly after starting my career, I found a passion for nutrition when a coworker told me about her story of treating her cancer completely through diet and lifestyle changes. This intrigued me and so I pursued a master’s degree in clinical nutrition in 2015.
That same year, our oldest child was born (it was a busy year, to say the least!) and being in this stage of life, I put a lot of extra focus in my graduate program on fertility, preconception, prenatal, and postpartum health and nutrition. I have worked with many women in this area but have also worked with clients looking for support healing from a diagnosis such as autoimmune conditions, arthritis, IBS, and hypothyroidism, to name a few.
I personally have felt frustrated with the lack of nutrition information in our medical system, especially after seeking help for issues I was having back in 2020. I was given some basic instructions that included “eat fewer calories and a low fat diet” which I knew was probably not going to help me in the situation I was in. This is why I continue to be passionate about helping people identify what nutrition and lifestyle changes you can make to radically improve your health including food sensitivities, possible nutrient deficiencies, and uncover the root cause of some of your health concerns.
I will be offering a few different services including FREE 15 minute consults if you just want to ask some questions to see if nutrition therapy would be a good fit for you. I would love to get to know you and hope you’ll reach out with any questions!
